We don’t like to do it, but we do anyway—Authors, promoting themselves. Whether you work strictly for yourself, or promote others, it’s a pain with very little gain. Many of us don’t have a lot of money to spend on ads and promotional services. Social Media constantly changes the rules. What to do? My guests this month will share some tips and ideas for promoting yourself (and others).
Though she’s usually the strong, silent type, my able bodied assistant, Christina Giguere, is going to talk about her new book on Social Media! Welcome, Christina!
Joining us is Red River Radio host and author Karen Vaughan. She owns and operates an author promotions company, Owl and Pussycat. Welcome, Karen!
We’d love for authors to join us in the chat room and ask questions, or share your tips with us! If you can’t join us live, leave your questions in the comments, and we’ll try to answer them!
Karen Vaughan is the author of comic mysteries, predominantly her lively Laura and Gerry books, as well as Holmes in America and Dead Comic Standing. She also helps promotes other authors, not only with her Writer’s Roundtable show, but with Owl & Pussycat Promotions.
Viv Drewa, author of Midnight Owl, the Owl and the Sipan Lord, The Angler and the Owl, among others. She and Karen work together with Owl and Pussycat Promotions.
Once in awhile, Dellani and Christina talk to one another, as well as a few stellar authors, and chat about using social media to publicize yourself as an author. Listen in TODAY at 4:00 PM Eastern time (3 Central, 2 Mountain, 1 Pacific) when we chat with JD Holliday, Karen Vaughan and Marta Moran Bishop.
The Fantastic Blog Hop is officially over, but we’ll be back this fall, with lots of suggestions for holiday gifts — buy books! We’ll be adding a few new faces and new books, so be sure to be looking for us.
Meanwhile, please visit our blogs, get to know our authors and follow us all. We’re always adding new things to our published work and want you to be the first to know.
Thanks for visiting us, following our blogs and buying our books. We’d love to hear what you think of our work, so please do us a favor and write a review to post on Amazon, Good Reads, etc. Let the world know how much you liked our work. ~ Dellani

I need to retitle this We’re Done! Today is the last day of the Fantastic Blog Hop Tour – and what fun it’s been. What a delight getting to know my fellow authors better. I’ve got a stack of new books to read. I hope that we all found a few new followers and readers. It’s all about the books!
If you’ve missed any of our posts over the last nine days, they are all below. The names on the links are the host authors. The name of each featured author is in the heading.
